Job Description

Collaborative training program coordinator will cover tasks, including:

  • 1.      In charge of developing application package for the operation of the new academic collaborative programs (ACPs) or extension of the current academic collaborative programs

    • Advise foreign partners on necessary procedures for the opening / renewal of the ACPs;
    • Act as a bridge between the academic units and the foreign partners;
    • Coordinate with the academic and administrative units to collect documents and dossiers in the process of developing the application package;
    • Work with personnels of VNUHCM’s departments in the process of submitting and finalizing the project;
    • Prepare for the working sessions with the reviewing committee of VNUHCM
    • Track the duration of the cooperation agreements to ensure the ACPs being renewed on time.  

    2. Coordinate with IU’s units on the on-going ACPs

    • Coordinate with foreign partners for information and announcements, forward them to relating units for actions. For example: coordinate with Office of Academic Affairs, Schools/ Departments at IU to organize seminars, students meeting and pre-departure session for students.

    3. Other tasks:

    • Compile periodical reports on collaborative training programs: annual reports to MOET’s Vietnam International Education Development Department; quarterly reports to VNUHCM; other reports and tasks assigned by the Head of Office.
    • Plan for opening / renewal of the collaborative training programs
    • Support for other tasks assigned
  • Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor degree, especially in International Relation, Education Management program

     Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proactive and strong time management skills
    English: IELTS 6.0 or above

    Computing skill: strong at Microsoft Office

    Experience: Used to study oversea or experience in administrative work in education are desirable 

    Other(s):

    • High level of commitment
    • Willing to work overtime
