Job Description

International University is seeking one Lecturer for Department of AquaScience - School of Biotechnology

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures at least 275 periods related to the courses such as Introduction to Aquatic Resource Management, Marine Biotechnology, Aquarium & Ornamental Fish, ect.
  • Design, coordinate, implement and initiate/lead research on laboratory and field studies focused on fish nutrition
  • Publish at least 1 international scientific article or 2 national scientific articles
  • Build productive relations  between IU and the enterprises  to develop the collaborative research in aquaculture technology
  • Be in charge of other services including Academic Advisor, Internship Supervision, Thesis Review, Thesis Committee, Thesis Supervision, etc.
Requirements

Qualification

  • Minimum Qualification: PhD degree, studied and/or are working in an English speaking environment
  • Preferred Majors: Aquaculture or Aquaculture Biotechnology

Skills

  • English: Fluent in teaching specialized subjects in English
  • Computer: Familiar with tool kit such as blackboard, e-learning, etc.

Experience: 

  • At least three years of work experience in a field related aquaculture, aquaculture engineering, aquaculture biotechnology.
  • Previous work experience with the private sector and/or international organizations
