Job Description

School of Biomedical Engineering is seeking qualified candidates to take the following responsibilities:

  • Develop collaborations with external institutions;
  • Provide leadership and take initiative;
  • Fulfill other activities as necessary
  • Perform research (at least 1 point per year)
  • Conduct teaching activities (at least 270 periods per year) the courses as below: 

  • Biosignal Processing, Biomedical Image Processing, Computer aided Diagnosis
  • Electronic Devices, Microcontroller, Digital System, Electronic Circuits
  • Medical Instrumentation, Medical Imaging, Biophotonics
  • Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
  • Statistics For Health Science
  • Bioinformatics
  • Biosensors, Lab-on-a-Chip
  • and related courses



  • Minimum Qualification: PhD degree or Medical doctor
  • Prefered Majors but not limited to: Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Physics, Medical Instrumentation, Medical Imaging, Biophotonics, Biomedical Signal and Image Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Biosensors, Lab-on-a-Chip, or Biomedical Engineering, Tissue Engineering, Bio-materials Science, Bio-engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or related fields


English: 600 on TOEFL PBT (or equivalence). Strong skills in written and oral communication in English

Computer: Fair ability to use computer efficiently

Other(s): Excellent track record in external funding and publications in refereed journals

Experience: Experience in research and teaching is a must, in entrepreneurship is a plus
