Job Description

Department of Automation and Control Engineering is seeking qualified candidates to take the following responsibilities:

  • Undertake teaching duties in the Department of Automation and Control Engineering as appropriate in related subjects at undergraduate level (at least 270 periods/school year)
  • Involve teaching subjects of Control Engineering and Automation
  • Develop and deliver teaching modules and course assessment material for delivery as required
  • Contribute to administrative tasks and duties as assigned by Dean of school of Electrical Engineering as well as Head of Department
  • Contribute to the teaching activities at School of Electrical Engineering - IU, in disciplines related to Automatics Control and Robotics and to their fields of expertise both in undergraduate and graduate programs. 
  • Carry out his/her research and professional capabilities as common requirements for Lecturer Position within IU
Requirements

Qualification

  • PhD in Robotic field or equivalent relevant qualifications such as Automation Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, Electrical/ Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
  • Graduated from prestigious universities in which the language of instruction is English

Skills

  • English
  • IELTS 7.0 or equivalent
  • Have the ability to teach subjects in English
  • Be able to communicate English fluently
  • Computer: Be familiar with automation software application: Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
  • Other: Ability to work collaboratively

Experience

  • Proven research profile in Robotics fields with Doctoral Thesis and publications 
  • Fresh PhD or Senior Lecturer are also welcome
