Job Description Department of Mathematics is seeking qualified candidates to take the following responsibilities: 
  • Deliver lectures in Mathematics, Probability and Statistics, Applied Statistics & related courses
  • Conduct teaching activities at least 270 periods per year
  • Do research at least 1 research point per year.
  • Supervise student’s research projects at both undergraduate & graduate level.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks, duties as well as related services as assigned by Head of Department.
  • Fulfill other activities as necessary.
Requirements

Qualification: Ph.D. in Statistics, Applied Statistics, or related field

Skills:

English: Be fluent in English as well as match IU’s requirements (equivalent to IELTS 7.0 or higher)

Computer: Adept at using professional software

Others: Having strong research skills is a plus

Experience: Experience in teaching and research is an advantage

Other requirements: Good teamwork spirit
